INITIAL RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING GENERAL OBLIGATION SCHOOL
BUILDING BONDS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $3,500.000
BE IT RESOLVED by the School Board of the Manitowoc Public School District, Manitowoc County, Wisconsin that there shall be issued pursuant to Chapter 67 of the Wisconsin Statutes, general obligation school building bonds in an amount not to exceed $3,500,000 for the public purpose of paying the cost of building, purchasing, remodeling, expanding and/or equipping school facilities to provide a school lunch program.

April 2, 1974 Referendum

A citywide advisory referendum asks the following question: "Should the Manitowoc Joint School District #1 City of Manitowoc et al provide the funds necessary to initiate and continue a government subsidized lunch program?"

The vote is: Yes - 4035; No - 4667
